About Speed King

Speed King drops you into a courtyard full of crates and a straight-line dash as your only move. Pick a direction, commit, and your character rockets forward until it slams into a wall, a crate, or one of the hazards waiting in between. Clear every crate on the screen to open the exit and move to the next layout.

The challenge is entirely in the planning. Since you can't steer mid-dash, each level becomes a small puzzle: which crate do you smash first so the next dash still has a clean line, and which route avoids the spiked balls and laser cannons scattered around the yard. With over a hundred levels and no requirement to play them in order, you can skip a layout that isn't clicking and come back to it later.

Controls

WASD or the arrow keys pick your dash direction on desktop. On a touchscreen, swipe the way you want to go.

Tips

  • Look at the whole crate layout before your first dash — a bad opening move can wall you off from crates you need later.
  • Dash toward hazards only when a crate or wall is positioned to stop you right before you'd hit them.
  • If a level looks like a dead end, back out and try a different level from the select screen rather than burning retries.

It's a quick, replayable puzzle for anyone who likes figuring out the one clean path through a cluttered space, no install required — it runs straight in the browser.
