Heart Star Game

Heart Star is an adorable puzzle-platformer created by Adventure Islands where you guide two friends—a blue boy and a pink girl—through clever, color-coded levels. The catch is that you only control one character at a time. The inactive character freezes in place, acting as a solid block you can use to your advantage.

The game's brilliant level design revolves around color restrictions. The blue character can only stand on blue platforms and pass right through pink ones, while the pink character does the opposite. By constantly swapping between the two and helping each overcome gaps and spikes, you must get both characters to the golden torch to clear the stage.

Controls

You can share a keyboard with a friend for co-op, or play solo by swapping between the two characters:

• Arrow Keys / WASD: Move the active character and jump
• Space / G / Z: Swap between the blue and pink character
• R: Restart the level

Tips for Heart Star

Use your partner as a platform: The character you aren't controlling becomes a solid obstacle. You can jump on their head to reach higher ledges that you wouldn't be able to access alone.

Think in color: Always check which colored blocks are coming up next. Sometimes you need to leave the pink character inside a blue wall so they don't fall when you switch!

Carry each : If the pink character stands on top of the blue character, the blue character can walk around carrying the pink character, which is essential for crossing large sections of the wrong color.
