Brain Test 2: Tricky Stories brings a new set of mind-bending puzzles wrapped in colorful, character-driven narratives. Instead of random trick questions, you follow specific characters—like Tom the Cat, Emily, or Joe the Hunter—through their daily misadventures, solving a series of illogical logic puzzles to help them out of ridiculous situations.
A session involves staring at a seemingly simple drawing, reading a short prompt, and then figuring out the catch. The obvious answer is almost never the correct one. You might need to drag an object out of the frame, combine two unlikely items, or find a hidden interaction that isn't immediately visible. It is a game that tests your lateral thinking and patience in equal measure.
Controls
The game is played entirely with your mouse or touchscreen. Click or tap to interact with objects on the screen. Many puzzles require dragging items to new locations, combining them, or swiping across characters to reveal hidden clues.
Tips
- Interact with everything: If a level has clouds, birds, or background props, try clicking and dragging them. Often, the solution involves an object that looks like mere decoration.
- Take the prompt literally: The text prompt above each puzzle is usually a clue. If it asks you to "stop the monster," see if you can literally drag the word "stop" or physically block something on screen.
