Smash Room is a stress-relief sandbox with no goal but destruction. Pick one of twenty everyday objects — a laptop, a birthday cake, a boombox, a burger — then pick a weapon and wreck it. There's no score, no timer, and nothing to lose; you're here to watch things break apart in satisfying detail.
Every object is built from voxels, so each hit really does shatter it into a scattering of blocky pieces rather than just playing a canned animation. Twelve weapons give you very different ways to do it, from a swung baseball bat and a spinning saw blade to cluster bombs and a full airstrike, each with its own explosion, splatter and chain-reaction feel. Cycle through objects and weapons at will and see which combination is most satisfying to demolish.
Controls
Click or tap to strike the object with whichever weapon is selected. That's the entire control scheme — the game works the same way on desktop, phone or tablet.
Tips
- Try every weapon on the same object — the destruction pattern changes completely between a bat, a saw and an explosive.
- Cluster bombs and the airstrike cause the widest chain reactions, so save them for objects with lots of small parts to send flying.
- There's no penalty for switching mid-object, so mix weapons on one target instead of finishing with just one.
It's a good fit for a short break rather than a long session — a couple of minutes of watching things fall apart with nothing to plan or manage.
