Sleepless Pug Game

Sleepless Pug is a charming and clever turn-based puzzle-platformer where you step into the paws of a loyal pug with a very important job. Your owner has a habit of sleepwalking, and it is up to you to guide him safely back to his bed. Built with the PuzzleScript engine, the game turns a simple premise into a series of mind-bending spatial challenges.

Since the game is turn-based, every step you make causes the sleepwalking human to move one step as well. You must interact with the environment, push obstacles out of the way, and even physically block your owner to redirect his path. With 19 unique levels, you will need to plan several steps ahead to prevent him from walking into hazards like spike traps or falling off ledges.

Controls

• Move / Navigate: Use the Arrow keys or WASD keys to move the pug around the level.
• Undo Move: Press the Z key to undo your last action. This is incredibly helpful when correcting mistakes.
• Restart Level: Press the R key to reset the puzzle if you get stuck.

Tips and Strategies

• Act as a Shield: You do not just push crates—you can also stand directly in your owner's path to block him and change his walking direction. Use your position wisely to steer him away from spikes or pits.
• Plan for the Turn-Based Delay: Remember that your owner moves immediately after you do. Always calculate his next step before making your move to avoid accidental collisions.
• Use Undo Liberally: Since there is no penalty for undoing moves, experiment with different paths and press Z to roll back if your plan goes wrong.
• Interact with Crates and Ladders: Your pug can push blocks to bridge gaps or hold down switches, and can climb ladders to access upper platforms. Analyze the layout of the level to find the ideal path.
