Word Monsters is a word-finding game from Unico Studio with a monster-feeding twist. Each round gives you a hint, and you form words by tracing across a grid of letters - spell the hinted word and your monster gulps it down and grows.

The catch is that hints aren't the only way to score: any real word you trace, correct or not, earns points, so there's a constant temptation to hunt the grid for extra words instead of playing it safe. Keep feeding your monster and it evolves into new forms over time, which gives rounds a light long-term goal beyond just clearing the current hint. You can also set up a custom avatar and check leaderboards against players.

Controls

Mouse only - click and drag across connected letters on the grid to spell a word, then release to submit it.

Tips

• Don't fixate only on the hinted word - tracing any valid word on the grid still scores points, so grab easy extra words along the way.
• Longer words generally matter more for feeding your monster than a string of short ones, so look for the full hinted word before settling for a fragment.
• Keep an eye on your monster's growth - evolutions are the main reason to keep chaining rounds instead of stopping after one.

It suits players who like quick word-puzzle sessions with a bit of a collection/progression hook, rather than a strict timed word game.
