Word City Crossed is a word-connecting puzzle from Unico Studio that turns a simple mechanic — tracing letters into words — into a trip around the world. Each level gives you a small cluster of letters and a crossword-style grid with blanks running both across and down, and it's up to you to spell out every word that fits before you can move on.
The loop is short and repeatable: clear a city's set of puzzles, collect the coins each solved word pays out, then travel on to the next city on the map. Coins carry over between levels, so a good run in one city buys hints or power-ups to lean on when the letters get trickier later.
Controls
Click a letter to start a line, then drag across the letters to spell out a word and release to lock it in. On a phone or tablet, trace the same path with your finger instead of a mouse — the game works the same way on touchscreens.
Tips
- Fill in the shortest, most obvious word first — it often reveals a shared letter that unlocks a longer word crossing it.
- Scan the whole grid before committing to a line; a letter cluster usually has more than one valid word hiding in it.
- Save hints for levels where you're stuck on the last one or two blanks rather than spending them early.
It's a good fit for short breaks — each city is broken into small, bite-sized puzzles rather than one long grind, so you can clear a few words and stop whenever you like.
