Ultimate Offroad Cars 2 puts you behind the wheel of one of five 4x4 trucks and sends you across nine terrain courses built from steep hills, mud pits and loose rock. The goal on every map is simple to state and hard to execute: reach the finish marker without getting stuck or rolling your vehicle.

When traction alone isn't enough, a winch cable is your tool. Attach it to a fixed anchor point, pull yourself out of a mud pit or up a ledge, then keep going — the courses are built around moments where driving skill and rope management matter equally.

Tips

• Switch to 4x4 before you hit mud or loose rock, not after you're already stuck in it.
• Ease off the throttle on descents — too much speed on a slope tips the truck over.
• Line the winch cable up with a solid anchor point before you pull, or it will just spin you sideways.
• If a run goes bad, restarting the course is usually faster than fighting to recover from a bad angle.
