About Tri Peaks

Tri Peaks is a classic solitaire card game where players try to clear three overlapping pyramids of cards. The goal is to move all cards from the table to the waste pile, clearing the peaks one card at a time. The game uses a single standard deck of 52 cards, offering a refreshing and strategic puzzle that is easy to learn but challenging to master.

To clear cards, you must select cards from the board that are exactly one rank higher or lower than the card currently face-up on the waste pile (for example, playing a 6 or an 8 on top of a 7). If no valid moves are available, you can draw a new card from the face-down draw pile. As you remove cards from the peaks, you uncover face-down cards underneath, unlocking more choices to continue your clearing streak.

Controls

  • Select Cards: Left click (on PC) or tap (on mobile) on a card to play it onto the waste pile.
  • Draw Cards: Click or tap the face-down deck to draw a new card when you run out of moves.

How to Play Tips

  • Plan your moves ahead: Before making a move, look at the uncovered cards and plan a sequence of plays to create longer streaks and keep the waste pile active.
  • Reveal face-down cards quickly: Focus on clearing cards that overlap and block face-down cards. Uncovering these cards gives you more options and moves to prevent getting stuck.
  • Save your king or ace: You can wrap around from King to Ace or Ace to King, which is useful for continuing a streak when you have a sequence near the ends.
