About Tennis Hero

Tennis Hero is a tap-timing sports game from b10b, the same studio behind the "Hero" arcade sports titles. You pick a character and work through a tournament bracket, playing best-of matches against three different opponents on the way to a gold medal.

Rallies come down to timing rather than aiming. Serves use a hold-and-release power bar, so releasing too early or too late either weakens the shot or sends it long, and returns during a rally work the same way — tap at the right moment to place a clean shot instead of smacking it into the net.

Controls

Tap or click to time your serves and returns. Hold down to build up serve power, then release at the right moment.

Tips

  • Don't hold the serve power bar all the way to max by default — an over-powered serve is easier to send out than a controlled one.
  • Watch the timing indicator rather than your opponent; the game is decided by rhythm, not reaction speed.
  • Early tournament opponents are the easiest read on timing, so use them to get a feel for the rally rhythm before the later rounds ramp up.

Tennis Hero FAQ

What are the controls?
Everything is tap or click based — hold to charge your serve power and release at the right moment, then tap to time your returns during rallies.
How many opponents do I play?
You work through a tournament bracket against three different opponents on the way to the gold medal.
Does serve power matter?
Yes, holding too long overpowers the serve and sends it out, so releasing at a controlled moment matters more than maxing out the power bar.
Can I play on mobile?
Yes, the tap-based controls work the same on touchscreens as they do with a mouse click.
