The classic chase continues with greater verticality and smoother momentum. Developed by Imangi Studios, this sequel takes the endless runner formula and throws it over the edge of a floating temple. You are still clutching a stolen idol and sprinting for your life, but the terrain is far less forgiving. Instead of flat stone pathways, you will be navigating twisting cliff sides, plunging down rushing rapids, and speeding through dark mineshafts in a rickety cart.
A giant demonic ape is constantly right on your heels. The pacing is relentless—every gap requires a perfectly timed vault, and every sharp turn demands split-second reflexes. The further you run, the faster the environment flies by, testing your ability to read the obstacles ahead.
Controls
Reflexes and muscle memory dictate your survival. The inputs map naturally to the keyboard.
- Up Arrow / W: Leap over roots, broken stone, and fire grates.
- Down Arrow / S: Slide beneath low-hanging logs and spinning saw blades.
- Left/Right Arrows / A/D: Execute hard turns at 90-degree corners.
- A/D (on straight paths): Lean left or right to collect coins or edge away from broken walkways.
Tips for Survival
Surviving past the early stages requires a few deliberate strategies:
- Queue your turns: You can input a turn command while you are still in mid-air from a jump. This is crucial when a sharp corner appears immediately after a gap.
- Manage the Shield: Focus your early coin upgrades on the Shield power-up. When the game speed reaches its peak, having an extra layer of protection against a missed swipe is more valuable than coin multipliers.
- Watch the cliff edges: When leaning to grab coins on the very edge of a broken path, immediately center yourself afterward. A sudden turn or jump while hugging the edge often leads to a fatal fall.
