Stud Rider is a fast-paced, physics-based motorcycle stunt game where your goal is to guide a dirt bike across challenging, uneven courses filled with steep hills, ramps, and sudden drops. As you speed through each landscape, you must carefully balance your motorcycle to execute clean flips and land safely on two wheels. Crashing on your head or losing control ends the run immediately, demanding constant focus and quick reflexes.
Unlike typical endless racing games, you must also keep a close eye on your fuel gauge. Red canisters of gasoline are scattered along the tracks, and missing even one can cause your engine to sputter and stall. The core challenge lies in balancing speed to beat the clock and collect fuel, while maintaining enough stability to survive the treacherous jumps and loop-de-loops.
Controls
On desktop, you can steer and balance your motorcycle using the keyboard:
- Up Arrow: Accelerate and drive forward
- Left Arrow: Tilt the motorcycle backward (perform backflips)
- Right Arrow: Tilt the motorcycle forward (perform frontflips)
Tips for Riding
- Feather the throttle: Do not hold down the accelerate key blindly when going over sharp crests, or you risk flipping backward out of control.
- Level out before landing: Always align both wheels parallel to the ground before touching down from a jump to avoid losing traction or crashing.
- Prioritize fuel canisters: Even if a fuel canister is in a tricky position, it is usually worth slowing down to grab it, as running out of gas is an instant game over.
