Social Solitaire takes the familiar card-sorting loop and adds a layer of progression: every game you finish earns crowns, which you spend on new deck faces and table themes rather than just a win screen. You can play it relaxed, with every card visible from the start, or switch to a normal round that hides cards the way Klondike solitaire always has.
Relaxed mode strips out the guesswork - every card on the tableau is face up, so the challenge is purely about finding a legal order to clear the board. Normal mode brings back hidden cards and the slower, more careful pace that comes with not knowing what's underneath. Either way, a stats screen tracks your win rate, average completion time and crowns earned, and a history menu lets you sort past games by date if you want to see how you're improving.
Controls
Drag with the left mouse button to move cards.
Tips
- Stuck on a move? Spend a crown on a hint before spending two on stealing a card.
- "Steal a card" pulls a random card from the tableau back into the deck for 2 crowns - use it to break a genuine deadlock, not just to speed things up.
- The undo button is free, so back out of a bad move before reaching for crowns.
- Try relaxed mode first if you're new to solitaire, then move to normal mode once you're comfortable planning around hidden cards.
It's a good pick for a short break: rounds are quick, nothing is timed unless you want to chase a faster average, and the theme unlocks give you a reason to keep coming back.
