About Sling World Cup

Sling World Cup turns standard soccer into a fast-paced physics brawler where your players act like pucks on a giant air hockey table. You control a three-player team, dragging and releasing them to launch across the pitch, colliding with the ball and opposing players. The goal is to sink the ball into the opponent's net while defending your own across a series of quick, chaotic matches.

Created by Rujo Games, the tournament structure lets you pick from 18 different national teams to take to the finals. The mechanics are simple to grasp but leave plenty of room for strategy, as you can use the stadium walls to bank shots or deliberately crash into rival players to clear a path to the goal.

Controls

  • Mouse / Touch: Click and hold on a player, drag backward to aim and set power, then release to launch them.

Tips

  • Form a wall: If your opponent has a clear shot, position one of your players directly in front of your own net to block them.
  • Play the angles: You do not always need a straight line to the goal. Bank your players off the side borders to hit the ball around defenders.
  • Disrupt the enemy: Sometimes the best move is launching your player into an opponent to knock them out of position before they can strike.

It is an ideal match for anyone looking for a quick, competitive sports game that relies more on physics and angles than complex button combinations.
