About Sea of Sharks

Sea of Sharks puts you in control of a shark surfing across the open ocean instead of chasing prey underwater. You carve along the swells, launch off the crest of a wave, and glide back down, building speed and style rather than hunting for a kill.

The ocean isn't empty, either. You'll run into characters out on the water who hand out small missions, and coins picked up along the way go toward cosmetic upgrades for your shark. Ships dot the water too, and part of the challenge is weaving around them while you keep your run going.

Controls

WASD or a joystick to steer, Spacebar to jump off a wave, and click or tap to select dialogue choices when you talk to characters.

Tips

  • Time your jumps off the top of a swell rather than mid-wave — you get more air and a cleaner landing.
  • Check in with the characters you pass; their missions are an easy way to stack up coins for upgrades.
  • Keep an eye out for ships ahead of time so a sudden turn doesn't kill your speed.

It's a laid-back pick if you want something to cruise through rather than grind — no combat, just waves, missions, and a shark that surfs better than it swims.
