Scrap Divers Game

Scrap Divers is a vertical falling game where you guide a modular robot down a procedurally generated tunnel of junk. Instead of running forward, you plummet downward through eight distinct environments filled with grinding sawblades, lasers, and industrial hazards. The goal is to collect golden bolts and salvage scrap to upgrade your mechanical divers and plunge deeper into the scrapyard.

The game's standout mechanic is its modular damage system. Rather than dying from a single collision, your robot loses limbs and outer parts as it bumps into obstacles. While losing parts makes your robot smaller and easier to slip through tight gaps, it also leaves your central CPU vulnerable. If your core takes a direct hit, the dive is over. This creates a high-stakes balance between risking narrow passages for scrap and keeping your robot intact.

Tips to Dive Deeper

• Embrace the Modular Damage: Sometimes taking a minor hit to clip off an arm is worth it. A smaller robot can navigate dense fields of sawblades far more easily than a fully intact, bulky machine. Just protect the central CPU.
• Focus on Magnet Range First: Golden bolts and scrap can be difficult to grab when steering past hazards. Prioritize upgrading the magnet radius early on so you can scoop up resources without deviating from safe paths.
• Learn the Stage Gates: Use the scrap you collect to unlock deeper checkpoints. Starting directly from deeper stages allows you to bypass the early areas and test your reflexes against faster descents.
• Match Robot to Environment: Experiment with the roster of over 15 robots. Heavier robots fall faster and handle differently than lighter, agile models, making some better suited for specific hazard layouts.
