Rubble Trouble is Nitrome's building-demolition puzzle game: every level drops you in front of a structure and hands you a fixed kit — explosives, a drill, or a wrecking ball — and the job is to bring the whole thing down with only what you've been given. It's less about brute force than about where you hit; a charge placed on the wrong wall wastes the tool you can't get back.
You're working for the Boss alongside Barry and the rest of the demolition crew, moving from job to job as the buildings get bigger and the tools stay just as limited. The complication is that construction workers wander through the structure while you work, so "clear the building" quietly becomes "clear the building without hitting the person still inside it."
Controls
Mouse only: click on the building to place your current tool, then click again to set it off. There's no keyboard involved.
Tips
- Look over the whole structure before your first charge — the toolset for a level is fixed, so a wasted hit can leave you short of what you need to finish it.
- Track the construction workers as they move and keep your tools well clear of wherever they're standing.
It suits short sessions: pick a level, read the building, take it apart, move to the next one.
