Royal Card Clash is a strategic, solitaire-inspired card game where players take on the role of a tactical deck builder trying to defeat the royalty of the deck. Your objective is to clear all 12 face cards—Jacks, Queens, and Kings—using only a standard deck of number cards and Aces. It blends basic math, card management, and spatial planning into a single-player puzzle experience.
A typical session is calm but requires careful thinking and card counting. Every turn presents you with three cards from your deck, forcing you to calculate how to damage the royals without running out of cards. With no timer ticking, you can take your time to calculate the optimal moves, making it a perfect game for a relaxed but mentally engaging session.
Game Rules
- Defeat the Royals: Jacks have 15 health, Queens have 20, and Kings have 25. You must bring their health to exactly zero to defeat them.
- Same-Suit Finisher: You can attack a royal with any card to lower their health, but the final blow that defeats them must be delivered by a card of the matching suit.
- Aces and the 1 HP Rule: Playing an Ace on a royal automatically drops their health to 1. If you deliver the final blow with a same-suited Ace, the Ace returns to your hand.
- The Shield Slot: You can store one card in the shield slot to save it for a future turn, allowing you to set up powerful combos.
Controls
Royal Card Clash is fully mouse and touch-compatible, making it easy to play on both computers and mobile devices.
- Select and Play: Click or tap a card in your hand, then click or tap the face card you want to target.
- Shield Slot: Drag or click a card to place it in the shield slot for safekeeping.
Tips
- Save Your Aces: Aces are extremely powerful tools. Use them when a royal has full health to bypass up to 24 points of damage, but remember you need a matching suit to finish them off.
- Track Your Suits: Keep track of the cards remaining in your deck. Since you must finish a royal with a matching suit, getting stuck with no matching cards of that suit means game over.
- Utilize the Shield Slot: Don't waste high-value cards or same-suit finishers early on. Store them in your shield slot until you are ready to deliver the final strike.
