Rowdy Wrestling is a ragdoll wrestling game from Colin Lane Games: two lumpy, floppy fighters shove, punch and dropkick each around a ring, and the only way to win is to throw your opponent clean over the ropes. The physics do most of the comedy — a badly timed punch sends both wrestlers flailing, and a well-placed dropkick can end a match in one hit.
Play through a single-player career against a roster of different wrestlers, or share a keyboard for a local rumble match against a friend. Referees occasionally toss chairs and objects into the ring, which either side can grab and use to stun the before going for the elimination throw.
Controls
Arrow keys move your wrestler, Z punches, grabs and throws opponents, and Up Arrow + Z performs a dropkick.
Tips
- Grabbing and throwing is usually more reliable for ring-outs than repeated punching, which can leave you off balance.
- Dropkicks cover distance fast but leave you exposed for a moment after — don't spam them against an opponent who's already close.
- Picking up a thrown-in chair and landing a hit first can turn a losing exchange around instantly.
It's a quick, silly pick-up-and-play game that works best in short bursts, either alone against the career ladder or head-to-head with someone next to you.
