Roller Coaster Builder 2 is a creative physics simulation that hands you the tools to design, build, and ride your own custom theme park attractions. Instead of managing a whole park, the focus is entirely on track construction. You can lay down steel, add steep drops, twist the rails into corkscrews, and build massive loops to see just how extreme you can make a ride before physics takes over.
The challenge lies in balancing ambition with momentum. Since the coaster relies on gravity and speed, an upward incline that is too steep or a drop without enough runway will leave your carts stalled on the track. Once you finish building, you can switch to a first-person 3D view and ride your creation to test if it survives the circuit.
Controls
- Mouse: Click and drag to lay down track pieces, adjust angles, and place loops or props.
- UI Buttons: Use the on-screen tools to switch between track types, delete mistakes, and start the simulation.
Tips
- Build momentum: Always start with a chain lift or a massive initial drop. Your coaster needs enough speed early on to carry it through loops and inclines later in the track.
- Test frequently: Do not wait until the entire track is finished to ride it. Test it in sections so you know exactly where the carts lose speed or derail.
