Rodeo Stampede is a fast-paced, physics-based action game where you leap from one running animal to another during a frantic safari stampede. As a daring cowboy or cowgirl, your goal is to lasso and tame a wide variety of wild beasts, from buffalos and zebras to exotic elephants and ostriches. Each animal behaves differently, requiring quick reflexes and careful timing to avoid crashing into obstacles or being bucked off when they get angry.
Beyond the adrenaline-pumping chase, the game features a zoo management simulation. Every animal you successfully tame during a stampede can be added to your Sky Zoo—a floating park in the clouds that you manage and expand. Upgrading your zoo enclosures attracts visitors, generates coins, and unlocks special passive abilities that help you survive longer and tame even rarer creatures on your next run.
Controls
Rodeo Stampede supports both mouse and keyboard controls on desktop, as well as touch inputs on mobile devices.
- Steer Animal: Hold the Left Mouse Button and drag left/right, or press the Left and Right Arrow keys.
- Jump and Lasso: Release the Left Mouse Button or the Spacebar to leap forward in the air.
- Catch New Animal: Position your landing circle over another animal and click/hold the Left Mouse Button again, or hold the Spacebar.
Tips
- Don't overstay your welcome: Animals become angry and buck harder the longer you ride them. Be ready to leap to a fresh animal before you lose control.
- Upgrade your enclosures: Spend your coins on upgrading the exhibits in your Sky Zoo. Doing so gives you permanent benefits, such as longer ride times before animals get angry or faster taming speeds.
- Scan the horizon: Watch out for rare animals with unique color patterns. When you see one, prioritize leaping toward it and staying on its back until the taming gauge is fully filled.
This browser-friendly game runs directly in your web browser with no downloads or installation required. It is perfect for quick gaming sessions, offering a satisfying blend of reflex-based action and rewarding progression.
