About Rescue the Fish

Rescue the Fish is a physics puzzle about water, not aim. Every level drops a fish into a tank full of pins, and pulling the wrong one sends the water — and the fish riding it — straight into fire, spinning blades, or a block of ice. Your job is to figure out which pins to remove and in what order so the flow carves a safe path down to the ocean at the bottom.

There's no timer pushing you, so most of the challenge is reading the level before you touch anything: trace where each pin is holding water back, spot which hazard it's currently protecting the fish from, and only then start pulling. Pull the wrong one first and you'll usually see the fish die instantly, which resets the level and costs you nothing but a few seconds — so it rewards patient trial and error more than reflexes.

Controls

  • Click and drag a pin to pull it out (mouse on desktop, tap and drag on touchscreens)

Tips

  • Look for the pin closest to the fish first — it usually decides the very next move, not the whole solution
  • If a hazard sits directly below a pool of water, that pin is almost always the last one you want to pull, not the first
  • A failed attempt shows you exactly where the water goes, so treat each death as a hint rather than a setback

It plays well in short bursts — a level or two on a break — since each puzzle is self-contained and restarts instantly.
