Pinturillo 2 is an online drawing-and-guessing party game, the same idea as Pictionary but played out with strangers or friends over the internet. Each round one player gets a secret word and a blank canvas, everyone else watches the sketch appear stroke by stroke and races to type the answer into the chat.
The scoring rewards speed: whoever guesses first in a round banks the most points, and everyone else who gets it right afterward earns a smaller amount depending on how quickly they followed. With a word list in the thousands and rooms open in several languages, no two rounds play out quite the same way, and a bad drawing is half the fun.
Controls
Everything runs on the left mouse button — click and drag to draw when it's your turn, and click into the chat box to type your guesses when it isn't.
Tips
- Simple shapes and rough outlines register faster with guessers than detailed drawings — you're racing the clock, not painting a portrait.
- Watch the drawing build up before typing a guess; jumping in too early on a half-finished sketch usually just wastes a guess.
- Being close counts for nothing — check spelling before you send, since guesses are usually matched to the exact word.
It's a good fit for a quick multiplayer session with no download or account needed — just open the browser tab and join a room.
