Penalty Shooters Game

Penalty Shooters puts you and an AI opponent through a full penalty shootout, five kicks a side, with 32 real English club teams to pick from before you start. You take your turn on the spot, then swap straight into your own goalkeeper's gloves for the reply, so defense matters just as much as finishing.

Every kick uses the same timing trick: a target circle slides back and forth across the goal, and how long you hold determines how high the ball rises. A quick tap sends a low shot along the ground, while a longer hold reaches for the top corner — hold too long, though, and it sails over the bar. On defense, that same hold-and-release motion sends your keeper diving toward wherever the pointer sits the moment you let go.

Controls

• Click and hold, or press and hold on a touchscreen, to aim
• Release to take the shot or trigger the goalkeeper's dive
• Hold longer for a higher shot, release quickly for a low one

Tips

• Vary your hold time from kick to kick — a keeper braced for a full charge will guess wrong on a quick tap
• As goalkeeper, start moving toward the target early, since the dive itself takes a moment to land
• Don't hold past the height you need — sailing the ball over the bar wastes the turn instead of forcing a save

It plays fast, a few rounds at a time, and suits a short break rather than a long soccer sim.
