About Penalty Shooters 2

Penalty Shooters 2 puts you on both sides of the spot kick. Pick a team, take your shots first, then switch to goalkeeper once the sides swap — score more than your opponent across the round and you move on, miss a save at the wrong moment and the run ends there.

The tournament runs through group stages into knockout rounds, drawing from 48 national teams and 12 fantasy leagues, so the matchups change run to run even though every shootout still comes down to the same few seconds of aim and timing.

Controls

  • Shooting: hold the mouse button (or tap and hold on touch devices) to set your aim, then release to strike
  • Saving: click or tap toward the side the shot is heading, timed so your keeper reaches the ball before it crosses the line

Tips

  • Watch the shooter's run-up before committing to a save — reacting to the kick itself is usually too late
  • Aim for the corners rather than straight down the middle; corner shots give the keeper less time to reach
  • Vary your shot placement round to round so the opposing keeper can't lean on a pattern

It plays in short bursts of a few rounds at a time, and the controls translate just as well to a phone screen as to a mouse.
