About Orbital Survival

Orbital Survival is a small physics-based arcade shooter where you play a robot clinging to the surface of a tiny round planet. Move and the planet turns beneath your feet instead of you walking across flat ground, so every step is really an orbit around a curved little world.

A wave of UFOs closes in as you circle the planet, dropping down to attack while you try to line up a clean shot. The catch is that your own bullets follow the same curve as everything else: a shot that misses can loop all the way around the planet and hit you from behind if you are not paying attention. Survive as long as you can, keep your ten-point health bar intact, and rack up score to earn short bursts of extra shots.

Controls

Move with the arrow keys or WASD to walk around the planet's surface. Press Space or M to fire. On touch devices, drag the on-screen stick to move and tap the right half of the screen to shoot.

Tips

  • Watch where your shots go. Because bullets curve around the planet, firing carelessly can send one right back into you a few seconds later.
  • Keep moving rather than standing still — it makes you a harder target for the UFOs closing in from above, and your health bar only has ten points to give.
  • Building up your score triggers a temporary spread shot, so save a crowded pack of enemies for right after you feel the power-up kick in.
  • Grab healing pickups as soon as they appear; they restore a solid chunk of health and can save a run that is going badly.

It is a quick, physics-driven distraction rather than a deep systems game — good for a handful of short runs when you want a shooter where the curve of the level is as much your enemy as the UFOs are.

Orbital Survival FAQ

How do I move and shoot in Orbital Survival?
Use the arrow keys or WASD to walk around the planet's surface, and press Space or M to fire. On mobile, drag the on-screen stick to move and tap the right side of the screen to shoot.
Why did I hit myself with my own shot?
Bullets curve around the planet's surface just like you do, so a shot that misses an enemy can loop back around and strike you from behind if you're not careful.
Does my best score save between sessions?
Yes — your best score is saved locally in your browser, so you can see how each run compares to your personal best.
Is there a way to heal during a run?
Healing pickups appear during a run and restore part of your health bar when you collect them.
