The pace shifts with the vehicle. A sports car rewards clean cornering and momentum, while a truck or bus is about muscling over rough ground without flipping. When you do want to show off, slowing down time turns a jump into a controlled stunt instead of a coin flip, and a quick repair gets you back on the road when a landing goes wrong.
