Math Mahjong Relax, from Logic.cool, takes the tile-matching flow of classic mahjong solitaire and folds arithmetic into it. Instead of only pairing identical tiles, you can also pair ones that add up to the same value — a tile showing 3 and one showing 2 can match a tile showing 5 — so clearing the board takes a bit of quick mental math along with a good eye for the layout.
Only tiles that are "open," meaning clear along their left or right edge, can be picked, so much of the puzzle is reading the stack correctly and deciding which pair to clear first to free up what's buried underneath. It's turn-based and untimed, with no clock pushing you to rush a move.
Controls
Click or tap a tile to select it, then click or tap its match to clear both. The same tap-to-select works with a finger on touchscreens.
Tips
- Clear pairs that unlock tiles underneath before ones that don't — it keeps the board opening up instead of locking down.
- Remember pairs don't need to look alike: numbers, dots, and Roman numerals can match as long as their values add up the same.
- If a level looks stuck, there's no timer forcing your hand — take a minute to rescan for an open pair before restarting.
It's a good fit for a slower, arithmetic-flavored break rather than a race: 36 levels that start simple and gradually mix in more suits and combinations.
