About Hexellent

Hexellent is a hex-tile stacking puzzle from Seal Unicorn Games. Every level fills the board with colored hexagon blocks, and the goal is simple to state and harder to pull off: sort those colors into matching stacks and clear them before the board runs out of room.

A round plays out one careful move at a time. Click and hold a hex block, drag it toward a stack of the same color, and let go to drop it in place. Land enough matching hexes together and the stack clears — line up a move that clears more than one stack at once and the game rewards you with a combo.

Controls

Mouse: click and hold a hex block, drag it to where you want it, then release to drop. On mobile and tablet the same motion works with a tap-and-hold drag.

Tips

  • Build toward stacks of a single color rather than dropping wherever there's space — a clean stack is what actually clears.
  • Look a move ahead for placements that finish two or more stacks in one drop; that's how combos happen.
  • The drop is committed the moment you release, so line up the color and the stack before you let go.

It suits short, focused sessions — a handful of color-sorting rounds rather than one long sitting.

How do you play Hexellent?
Click and hold a hex block, drag it to a stack of the same color, and release to drop it. Clear a full stack of matching colors to score, and clear more than one stack in the same move for a combo.
Who developed Hexellent?
Hexellent is made by Seal Unicorn Games, the studio behind other Poki titles like Misland and Fluffy Out.
Can I play Hexellent on mobile?
Yes. It runs in the browser on desktop, phone, and tablet, with the same drag-and-drop move controlled by touch instead of a mouse click.
What kind of puzzle is Hexellent?
It's a hex-tile matching and merging puzzle where the challenge is sorting colors into clean stacks rather than solving one fixed layout.
