Free Kick Screamers is a penalty-shooting game built around a single, satisfying action: line up a free kick and blast it past whatever stands in the way. Each of the game's 45 levels drops you in front of a different obstacle course, from a plain training pitch to a Hell Arena, a dinosaur-age stadium, a graveyard and even a shopping mall, and it's on you to find the gap the goalkeeper, wall of defenders or moving target hasn't covered.

You get six attempts per level to score, and the aiming itself is simple enough to pick up in seconds but takes a steady hand to master as the courses get busier. Early levels are mostly about learning the curve on your shot; later ones ask you to thread the ball between shuffling defenders and a keeper who's actually paying attention. Run out of tries and the game offers a hint rather than forcing a restart, so the pace stays quick and screen-to-screen.

Tips

• Watch the goalkeeper's starting position before you drag your shot — most levels have a clear side they're weaker on.
• Curl the ball around a defensive wall instead of trying to force it straight through the middle.
• Use the hint option if you burn through your six attempts rather than replaying blind.
• Later stadiums add moving obstacles, so time your shot to a gap rather than aiming at where it is right now.
