Ducklings.io Game

Ducklings.io is a slow, cozy multiplayer game about being a duck. You paddle around an open pond, scoop up lost ducklings one by one, and guide them home to your nest instead of racing anyone or fighting for territory. There's no elimination, no scoring against players — the pressure comes only from reckless boats crossing the water, which will hurt you if you swim into their path.

Every duckling you bring home grows your nest a little bigger, and a bigger nest unlocks new hats — fifty of them in total, purely cosmetic, worn just because they're charming. You can invite friends by sharing a room code and rescue ducklings together with no cap on how many people join, which makes the game feel more like a shared pond than a competitive arena.

Controls

Move your mouse to steer your duck across the water (or use the on-screen joystick on touch devices). Click, tap, or press Space near your nest to quack, which is how you swap between the hats you've unlocked.

Tips

• Watch the water ahead for boats — they don't chase you, but getting clipped by one costs you progress, so give shipping lanes room.
• Bring ducklings home in small trips rather than trying to herd a huge group at once; a scattered group by a boat is easy to lose.
• Play in a room with friends if you want company — it doesn't speed up hat unlocks, but the pond is more fun shared.
