About Draw Wire

Draw Wire is a puzzle game about tracing paths, not solving mazes with your reflexes. Each level scatters colored dots and household appliances across the screen, and your job is to connect every matching pair with a single unbroken wire. The catch is that no two wires are allowed to cross, so the obvious straight line is rarely the right one — you have to route around connections, double back, and use every corner of the board before a level clicks into place.

The difficulty comes from spatial reasoning rather than speed. Early boards give you plenty of open space and a handful of pairs; later ones pack the same rules into tighter grids where one careless line blocks off the path you need for the next pair. There's no timer pressuring you, so it plays best as a slow, one-more-level kind of session.

Controls

Everything is mouse-driven: click and drag from one dot to its matching color to draw the connecting wire, and release to lock it in. The same click-and-drag input works with a finger on touchscreens.

Tips

  • Scan the whole board before drawing your first wire — committing early to an obvious short connection can wall off a pair on the far side of the grid.
  • Save the pairs with the fewest possible routes for last, since they're the most likely to get boxed in by your wires.
  • If a level feels stuck, retrace your wires mentally rather than randomly redrawing — the solution is almost always a reroute, not a different set of connections.

It's a good fit for anyone who likes low-pressure logic puzzles they can dip into for a few levels at a time.

Draw Wire FAQ

How do you play Draw Wire?
Click and drag from one colored dot to its matching pair to draw a wire between them. Every dot must be connected, and no two wires can cross.
What controls does Draw Wire use?
It's entirely mouse-driven on desktop — click and drag to connect dots. On phones and tablets the same click-and-drag works with a finger.
Can I play Draw Wire on mobile?
Yes, it runs in the browser on desktop, phone, and tablet with no install needed.
What happens if I can't finish a level?
There's no timer or fail state, so you can take as long as you like to reroute your wires and find a path that doesn't cross.
