Craftomation 1 is a puzzle game about coding tiny robots to terraform a frozen planet. You start by dragging and combining raw materials to discover new items, working your way up a crafting tree until you can build a robot chassis. From there the game shifts: instead of controlling the robot directly, you snap together function blocks to write a short program that tells it what to do, then run it and watch whether your logic actually solves the level.
That back-and-forth between crafting and programming is the whole hook. A level might need you to figure out the right combination of resources before you even have the parts to build what the puzzle wants, and then debug your robot's instructions when it walks off a ledge or stops one step short of the goal. It rewards patient trial and error more than fast reflexes.
Controls
Everything is mouse-only: click and drag to combine elements on the crafting bench, and click and drag function blocks to build and edit your robot's program. It works the same way on a phone or tablet with touch instead of a mouse.
Tips
- Combine items freely early on — most recipes are found by experimenting, not by following a set path.
- Test a program in short pieces rather than building the whole sequence before running it once; it's easier to spot which single step is wrong.
- Keep unused ingredients around instead of using everything up, since a later level or recipe may need them.
It suits players who like slower, thinky puzzle games with a bit of programming logic in them, rather than anything twitchy or timed.
