Combo Crusader Game

Combo Crusader is a chain-matching puzzle from CoolGames: click and drag through three or more same-colored monsters to link them into a chain and clear them off the board. The longer the chain, the bigger the payoff, so the game is really about reading the board a few moves ahead instead of just clearing whatever match is closest to your cursor.

Each level sets a different goal rather than repeating the same "beat the clock" objective. Some ask you to hit a target score, others want you to clear every patch of slime, defeat a set of shielded "cloners," or free caged pigs by popping a nearby matching chain. Clearing the goal ends the level and scores you up to three stars based on how well you did.

Controls

Mouse only: click on a monster and drag across adjacent monsters of the same color to build a chain, then release to clear them.

Tips

• Scan for the longest possible chain before you commit — a bigger group clears more of the board and scores more than two or three quick small matches.
• On slime or cage levels, prioritize chains near the obstacle over chains that only chase score, since the level goal won't complete from score alone.
• If a level has a "cloner" goal, look for the monster type it protects rather than matching randomly — clearing near it is what actually removes it.
