Bunny Hop is a 2D pixel-art puzzle platformer from Gamehound Productions, and despite the name it isn't a speedrunning game — the goal across its 15 levels is precise, timing-based hopping rather than raw speed. Each level plays like a small puzzle: work out the right sequence of jumps, direction switches and dashes needed to reach the end, since a mistimed hop usually means starting the level over.
The moveset is small but deliberate. Rather than a run-and-jump platformer where reflexes carry you through, Bunny Hop rewards reading a level before committing to a sequence — most levels take a few attempts before the right pattern clicks.
Controls
Jump: Right Click or Space. Switch direction: E or Middle Click. Dash: W or Left Click. Restart the level: R or Backspace. Controller support is also available.
Tips
- Plan the sequence before you move. Levels are built around jump/switch/dash combinations, and reading the layout first saves more attempts than reacting on the fly.
- Restart early, restart often. A mistimed hop near the start of a level is rarely worth pushing through — hitting Restart is usually faster than trying to recover.
- Revisit cleared levels for achievements. There are 12 achievements to unlock across the 15 levels, so a level you've already beaten can still be worth another pass.
It suits short, replayable sessions — a level or two at a time rather than one long sitting.
