Blumgi Slime is a physics platformer starring a squishy, stretchy slime that has to hop, launch and squeeze its way across a run of short obstacle courses. Each stage is a tight platforming puzzle: judge a gap wrong and the slime splats past the edge of a platform, judge it right and it lands with a satisfying wobble before you're straight into the next jump.
The whole game turns on one control, so the challenge is really about timing rather than reflexes. You're not steering the slime in the air — you're deciding how hard to launch it before it leaves the ground, then watching the physics do the rest as it squashes and stretches through spikes, gaps and moving hazards.
Controls
Hold down the mouse button, or hold your finger on a touchscreen, to charge a jump, then release to launch. The longer you hold, the higher and farther the slime jumps — a quick tap gives a short hop, a long hold sends it soaring over a bigger gap.
Tips
- Match the hold length to the gap in front of you instead of always charging to maximum — overshooting a short jump can land you on a hazard just as easily as falling short.
- Watch how a moving obstacle is timed before you commit to a jump; landing in the gap of its path matters more than raw jump power.
- The slime's arc is locked in the moment you release, so if a jump feels wrong there's no correcting it mid-air — restart the attempt instead of fighting momentum.
Blumgi Slime also has a 2-player mode, so it's worth a look for a side-by-side session with a friend rather than only playing solo. It runs directly in the browser with nothing to install.
