Blocky Out is a sliding-block puzzle: every level packs a grid of wooden blocks around a single red piece, and your only job is getting that red block out through the exit. Nothing moves until you drag it, so each board is really a short logic problem in disguise — figure out which blocks are actually in your way, then work out the order that clears them without boxing yourself in.
The click-and-hold dragging keeps it approachable even as the grids get busier. Later boards add doors that only open for a block of the matching color, so you're not just sliding pieces aside anymore — you're routing them to the right exit, which turns a few of the levels into small planning puzzles rather than pure trial and error. Power-ups show up here and there to bail you out when a board has you stuck.
Controls
- Click and hold a block, then drag it along its row or column to slide it
- Release to drop the block in its new position
- Works with touch on phone and tablet, the same click-and-hold motion
Tips
- Trace the red block's path to the exit first, then only move the pieces actually blocking that line
- Colored doors only accept a matching block — don't waste moves shoving one against the wrong door
- Save power-ups for boards where you've genuinely run out of legal moves, not the first sign of trouble
It's a good fit for short sessions — each level is a self-contained puzzle you can solve in a couple of minutes, so it works as well for a quick break as for chaining several boards in a row.
