Basketball Stars Game

Lace up your sneakers and hit the court in Basketball Stars, a fast-paced arcade basketball game created by Madpuffers. Unlike slow, simulation-heavy sports games, this title focuses entirely on quick reactions, exaggerated bobblehead physics, and high-scoring matchups. You can play solo in tournament brackets, jump into quick matches, or share your keyboard for chaotic local multiplayer action against a friend.

The gameplay is all about momentum and timing. On offense, you need to use pump fakes to get the defender in the air before taking your shot. On defense, timing your jumps to block shots and dashing to steal the ball is crucial. As you play, your super meter fills up, granting you an unstoppable, guaranteed shot that can swing the momentum of a tight game in seconds.

Controls

The game supports two players on the same keyboard:

• Player 1: Use W, A, S, D to move, jump, and pump-fake. Press B to shoot or steal, and V to activate your super-shot.
• Player 2: Use the Arrow Keys to navigate. Press L to shoot or steal, and K to activate your super-shot.
• Dash: Double-tap left or right to dash and force turnovers.

Tips

• Bait with the Pump Fake: Don't just shoot immediately. Tap down to fake a shot, wait for the opposing player to jump and miss the block, then safely drain your shot while they fall.
• Save the Super-Shot: Hold onto your fully charged super meter until the final seconds of a close game. Since it's unblockable, it's the perfect tool for a buzzer-beater victory.
