Apple Knight drops you into a fantasy world as a small armored hero fighting through platform levels stacked with slimes, skeletons and roaming enemies. Each stage mixes jumps over pits and hazards with short bursts of combat, and you pick up coins and loot along the way to spend on gear back at the hub.
The loot is the hook: armor, pets, weapons and spells all upgrade separately, so a run late in the game feels noticeably different from your first few levels. Difficulty settings let you dial the challenge up or down, which makes the same stage playable whether you want a relaxed clear or a tighter one.
Controls
- WASD or Arrow Keys — move
- Z, J or Space — jump
- X, K or Ctrl — attack
- V, ; or Alt — dash
- C, L or Shift — throw apple
Tips
- Dash through enemy attacks instead of jumping over them — it has brief invincibility frames that a jump doesn't.
- Thrown apples work at range and don't cost a melee opening, so use them to soften enemies before closing in.
- Upgrade armor before weapons early on; surviving hits matters more than damage output in the first few stages.
It runs straight in the browser, no install needed — a good pick if you want a bite-sized platformer session rather than a long commitment.
