Among Us: Online Edition Game

Among Us is a multiplayer game of teamwork and betrayal set in space. Players are assigned one of two roles: a Crewmate whose job is to keep the ship running by completing mini-game tasks, or an Impostor whose goal is to silently eliminate the crew before they finish. The tension comes from the fact that nobody knows who the Impostors are, and they look exactly like everyone else while faking tasks to blend in.

When a body is found or an emergency meeting is called, the game shifts from a stealthy task-completion loop into a chaotic social deduction phase. Players use the built-in chat to debate alibis, accuse suspicious behavior, and vote on who to eject into space. Since this online browser edition drops you straight into matches with players worldwide, you have to rely on quick thinking and solid observation to survive as a Crewmate or successfully manipulate the group as an Impostor.

Tips

• If you are a Crewmate, try to keep mental notes of who you pass in the hallways. Knowing who was on the right side of the map when a body was reported on the left can clear innocent players and narrow down suspects.
• Impostors should avoid faking tasks that have visible animations, like clearing the asteroids or emptying the garbage. Experienced players will watch to see if the guns actually fire or the trash actually drops.
• Don't be afraid to use the security cameras to watch foot traffic, but remember that a blinking red light on the camera means someone is actively watching you.
