Zooplop is a physics-based merging puzzle: a claw drops a small animal into a jar, you decide where it lands, and matching creatures fuse into the next size up when they touch. Start with a mouse, and a pair of them becomes a chicken, a pair of chickens becomes a crab, and so on up the chain toward the biggest prize in the jar, a whale.
The tension comes from the jar itself. Every drop that does not merge stays put and eats into your space, so a session is really about balancing greed against the shrinking room you have left before the pile crosses the top line and ends the run.
Controls
Move the mouse left and right to line up the next animal and click to drop it. On keyboard, A/D or the left and right arrow keys shift the animal, and S or the down arrow key releases it.
Tips
- Keep same-size animals grouped along the sides rather than stacking a random mix in the middle, so merges are easier to set up on the next drop.
- Don't force a risky drop just to clear the queue — a wasted animal in the wrong spot costs more room than it saves.
- Leave a clear lane in the middle of the jar as long as you can; it gives you somewhere to drop without immediately raising the pile.
It suits short sessions where you want a calm but genuinely tense puzzle loop, the same family as drop-and-merge games but with its own claw-and-zoo theme.
