About Wrassling

Wrassling is a frantic, retro-styled arcade wrestling game where the only goal is to throw everyone else out of the ring. You control a pixelated wrestler made mostly of wobbly joints and wildly swinging arms. wrestlers constantly drop into the ring from above, and the match simply continues until you are eventually tossed over the ropes yourself.

The physics are intentionally clumsy, which is exactly where the fun comes from. Instead of complex grappling systems, you furiously windmill your arms to snag opponents and use momentum to heave them out. The longer you survive, the more chaotic the ring gets, occasionally bringing in giant boss wrestlers and unlocking new hats for your character to wear.

Controls

  • Left / Right Arrows - Move around the ring
  • Up Arrow - Jump
  • Z - Swing your left arm
  • X - Swing your right arm

Tips

  • Keep your arms moving: Don't just hold the grab buttons. Furiously tapping Z and X makes your wrestler windmill their arms, which makes it much easier to snag opponents.
  • Jump before you throw: Once you have a grip on someone, jumping in the direction of the ropes gives you the momentum needed to launch them clear over.
  • Stay away from the edges: Being near the ropes makes it incredibly easy for an opponent to accidentally bump you out. Try to hold the center of the ring.
