Tic Tac Toe (Proxy) Game

This version of Tic Tac Toe keeps the rules everyone already knows — X and O, take turns, get your marks in a row — but adds a choice most versions skip: the size of the board. Play the classic 3x3 grid, or step up to 5x5 or 7x7, where three in a row is too easy to stop and the win condition shifts to four in a row instead.

You can play solo against an AI opponent or pass the device to a friend for a straight two-player match, all on the same board.

How the bigger boards change the game

On the standard 3x3 board, the first three-in-a-row wins, same as always. Switch to 5x5 or 7x7 and the target moves to four in a row, so the extra space actually matters — you have more room to build a line, but so does your opponent, and blocking becomes as important as attacking.
