Thumb Fighter takes the schoolyard thumb war and turns it into a proper one-on-one fighting game. Two thumbs face off, each trying to pin the down and hold it there the longest. It sounds silly on paper, but the timing window is tight enough that matches come down to reading your opponent's next move rather than button-mashing.
Pick a character skin, then either take on the CPU or hand the keyboard to a second player for local head-to-head. The core exchange is simple — wait for an opening, strike, then try to keep your thumb on top — but rounds stay tense because either side can turn a pin around with one well-timed move.
Controls
Player 1 presses A to attack, Player 2 presses L. That's the whole control scheme for local two-player. On phone and tablet, tap zones on each side of the screen do the same job.
Tips
- Don't attack the instant you see an opening — a slightly delayed strike beats an opponent who's still recovering from their own move.
- Against the CPU, watch its rhythm for a round or two before committing; it tends to repeat timing patterns.
- In two-player, sit close enough that neither player is straining to reach their key — a fumbled press costs the round.
Quick to learn, quick to play a round of — good for a couch match against a friend or a few minutes solo against the CPU.
