Swimming Pro is a straightforward racing sim built around one skill: rhythm. You pick an athlete from a roster spanning North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, line up in a lane, and race the 100m, 200m or 400m against a full field of competitors, all fighting for the same gold medal.
There's no steering to worry about — winning comes down to keeping your stroke rhythm tight and nailing your wall turns. Alternate your keys fast and evenly to build speed, then time your turn for the moment an on-screen indicator lines up dead center. A clean turn keeps your speed instead of costing you a stumble, and over a 400m race those turns add up to the real margin between first and fourth.
Controls
Left and Right arrow keys, alternated quickly, to swim. Spacebar to execute a turn — press it right as the turn indicator hits its centered position for a perfect, speed-preserving turn.
Tips
- An even left-right rhythm builds more speed than mashing one side or hammering both keys at once.
- Watch the turn indicator, not the clock — a mistimed turn loses more time than a slightly slower stroke rate.
- Race the shorter 100m distance first to get a feel for the turn timing before committing to a full 400m.
- Winnings from each race can be put into training your swimmer's speed or stamina, so early wins make later, longer races easier.
It's a quick pick-up-and-play sports game — good for short sessions between races rather than one long sitting.
