Snakes and Ladders Game

Snakes and Ladders is a timeless digital adaptation of the classic board game, perfect for a quick session of luck-based racing. Up to six players can join in, making it an excellent choice for pass-and-play multiplayer on a single screen. The objective remains exactly the same as the physical version: be the first to reach the 100th square by rolling the dice.

Every match is purely determined by the dice rolls. When your token lands at the bottom of a ladder, you instantly climb ahead, skipping rows of squares. But if you land on a snake's head, you slide all the way down to its tail, which can turn a guaranteed win into a sudden comeback for your opponents. The digital version automates all movement, so you only need to focus on rolling the dice when it's your turn.

Controls

The game is entirely controlled with the mouse or touchscreen. Click or tap the virtual die in the center of the screen to roll it. Your token will automatically advance the corresponding number of squares.

How to Play

While there are no strategic inputs you can make, it helps to understand the rules:

• You do not need to roll a six to start; your token enters the board immediately on your first turn.
• Landing on a ladder gives you a significant advantage, but be wary of the long snakes positioned near the end of the board.
• To win the game, you must land exactly on the 100th square. If your roll takes you past 100, your token will bounce back the remaining number of steps.
