Skribbl.io drops you into a room with a handful of strangers (or friends, if you set up a private lobby) and hands one of you a blank canvas and a word to draw. Everyone else races to type the answer into the chat before the clock runs out — the faster you guess, the more points you bank, and the artist earns points too based on how many people figure it out.
Rounds move fast: pick from three word options, sketch it out with a simple color palette, and watch the blank-line hint at the top fill in as players get close. Writing letters on the canvas instead of drawing is technically possible but frowned on — expect downvotes if you try it. Once every player has had a turn drawing, whoever racked up the most points across the match wins.
Controls
Left mouse button to draw on the canvas. Type your guesses on the keyboard and hit enter to send them to the chat.
Tips
- Start with the most recognizable feature of the word first — a rough outline gets guessers moving faster than fine detail.
- When guessing, type your best partial idea immediately rather than waiting until you're sure; a fast wrong guess costs nothing and can nudge your thinking in the right direction.
- Open a private room if you want to set your own round count, drawing time, language, and custom word list instead of playing public matches.
It's a quick, casual pick for a few rounds with friends or strangers — no download, just open a room and start guessing.
