Shark.io is a multiplayer .io arena game from developer PEGASUS: you control a shark from a top-down view, sharing the water with real players doing the same thing. The goal is simple to state and hard to master — eat anything smaller than you, and stay away from anything bigger, until you're the biggest thing in the water.
Every match is a constant size check. Swimmers and smaller sharks are free meals that grow your shark and add to your score through stars, while a run-in with something larger ends the attempt fast. A boost bar fills as you collect white pickups, and spending it lets you dash to close the gap on prey or make a last-second escape from a bigger predator.
Controls
Move with WASD, the arrow keys, or the mouse. Press Space or left-click to dash.
Tips
- Chase down white pickups first to fill your boost bar before you start hunting — you'll need the dash both to catch prey and to run.
- Stay near the edges of the crowd early on; the middle of the arena is where the biggest sharks circle.
- Save your dash for the moment a bigger shark actually turns toward you, not for casual repositioning.
- It runs on phones and tablets too, so a quick restart after getting eaten costs you nothing.
It suits players who want a short, replayable arcade session rather than a long commitment — a few minutes is enough to grow, get eaten, and try again.
