Shape Fold Nature Game

Shape Fold Animals is a physics puzzle from the Lithuanian studio Bikas. Every piece on the board is connected to its neighbors, so instead of picking up loose jigsaw pieces one at a time, you drag a whole jointed chain and watch it flex and fold as you move it. Each level has its own target silhouette, and the puzzle is solved the moment the folded chain matches it.

There's no clock or fail state pushing you along — you can nudge pieces back and forth as many times as it takes. That makes it a good fit for short breaks as much as longer sessions, and new level packs have kept arriving on a rolling basis since launch, so there's more to work through than just the original set.

Controls

• Click and drag with the mouse, or touch and drag on a phone or tablet, to move any part of the connected chain.
• Release a piece once it lines up with the outline to lock it into place.

Tips

• Watch how the pieces are joined before your first pull — because the whole chain moves together, an early tug in the wrong direction can tangle pieces you'd already lined up.
• Solve toward the parts of the silhouette you already recognize, like an ear or a tail, rather than trying to work out the whole shape at once.
• Stuck levels have an in-game hint option if you want a nudge instead of guessing blind.

It suits players who want a calm, low-pressure puzzle to pick at in short bursts rather than a timed or scored challenge.
