Scribble Game

Scribble is a charming, retro-style puzzle-platformer originally developed by Nitrome. In this physics-based brainteaser, players must guide a group of small, animated ink creatures known as "blots" from their starting jar to the level's exit flag. The blots automatically march forward and turn around whenever they hit a vertical obstacle, leaving the player with the critical job of drawing safe pathways for them in real-time.

Guiding the fragile blots requires quick thinking and precise mouse work. As they move across dangerous environments filled with hazards like spikes, deep pits, and scorching lava, you must sketch bridges, ramps, and protective barriers. With each level offering a limited ink reservoir, every line must be drawn efficiently to ensure the blots reach their destination before you run out of resources.

Controls

Tips

• Manage Your Ink: Keep an eye on your remaining ink supply. Draw only the shortest lines necessary to bypass obstacles, and avoid making excessively thick paths.
• Use Walls to Re-route: Because blots reverse direction when they hit a vertical wall, you can draw a simple vertical line to turn them around and steer them away from hazards.
• Bridge the Gaps: To cross spikes or wide pits, draw smooth, slightly curved lines to serve as bridges that blots can walk over without getting stuck.
